Our Team

The International Private Bank (IPB) Treasury and Deposit team has responsibility for the WM’s Treasury and Deposit businesses across EMEA, Asia and Latin America. This includes efficient use of IPB balance sheets, compliance with internal and regulatory liquidity requirements but also developing the banking product palette, deposit pricing and management of interest rate risk within the deposit, loan and mortgage books in a range of currencies to support business growth. 

Role

As Wealth Management Analyst for the Treasury and Deposit Practice based in Luxemburg, you will be a key member of the IPB Treasury and Deposit team focusing on our main EMEA legal entity headquartered in Luxemburg, JP Morgan Bank Luxemburg. 

Working closely with other members of the team, you will be the primary point of contact for all Treasury & Deposit BAU activities for that legal entity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee and manage daily deposit bookings
• Oversee and manage daily loan bookings from a Treasury perspective
• Manage collateral and FX exposure that arises due to WM activity in the legal entity
• Prepare reporting or providing input for the local committees
• Assist the banking manager daily activities around deposit pricing, answering advisor queries and preparing client pitches
• Interact with partners including the corporate treasury, product finance, front office, technology and operations
• Support ad hoc analysis requests under the Treasury and Banking scope

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience 

• 2+ years of relevant working experience in financial services industry
• Prior experience in Treasury is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with excellent aptitude for numbers
• Problem solving skills to understand and resolve issues
• Strong partnership and communication skills
• Able to excel in a fast paced environment and intellectually-demanding environment
• Strong teamwork ethic
• Technical skills include MS Excel and Access, familiarity with Bloomberg & VBA is a plus
• Fluency in English is essential .
