Client Details
Our client is a fund manager specialized in infrastructure investment.
They are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their current team in Luxembourg.
Description
As a Senior Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will be :
- Be responsible for the implementation of the planning processes (budget, forecast and multi-year planning)
- Monitoring of cash flow and processing of payment transactions at fund and holding level
- Calculation of complex fund-specific remuneration models (carried interest, performance fee and other complex models)
- Calculation and processing of capital flows and related activities including discounting, capital calls, equalization calculations, distributions and liquidity planning for investment funds
- Responsibility for the correct recording and optimization of capital flows with the aim of increasing efficiency and thus returns
- Support with the fund creation and approval process in Luxembourg, as well as structuring and optimization of fund structures (communication with the responsible supervisory authorities, external legal advisors and other service providers)
- Data management of all data and documents
Profile
- A university or technical college degree (accounting / finance)
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in fund accounting (alternative funds, private equity)
- Fluent in English, German being a big asset
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg company law and the legal provisions for fund business
- Knowledge of Luxembourg tax
- Detailed, structured and quality-focused way of working with a high affinity for quantitative tasks
- Excellent know-how in Excel
- Independent, pragmatic, gripping personality
- Willingness for above-average commitment and entrepreneurial thinking
