For one of our clients, an American company based in Luxembourg City, we are looking for a:
Risk and Compliance Officer (m/f)
Start date: As soon as possible
Core Duties and Key Strategic Objectives
• Actively support the Risk And Compliance team, fostering strong working partnerships with stakeholders across RP (Risk and Platform), EMEA, and Europe
• Actively maintain an understanding of the requirements of Luxembourg legislation and other relevant regulations and guidance relating to financial crime.
• Support the facilitation and implementation of the financial crime program (e.g., AML, terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-fraud, anti-bribery and corruption) across all relevant parts of PPEU.
• Assist in the coordination of responses for advice or information from different stakeholders such as RP Leadership, external auditors or regulatory / law enforcement bodies.
• Monitor and propose enhancements to AML-related processes, which requires close cooperation with different teams.
• Make practical and acceptable recommendations where systems and procedures need enhancing to counter the risk of financial crime.
• Coordinate a local financial crime risk assessment incorporating conclusions into local policies as required.
Your Profile :
• You acquired proven experience in AML and CTF domains
• You have strong Project Management skills, including leadership and consensus building.
• You are able to evidence broad experience and understanding of financial services regulation (financial crime, consumer protection and payment/e-money regulation)
• You obtained practical knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory frameworks
• You have the ability to operate within a Compliance advisory capacity; using your knowledge to identify issues and guide pragmatic risk mitigation
• You also acquired the ability to operate across the Compliance risk program including advisory, monitoring, reporting and governance.
• You have Proven and demonstrated leadership/collaboration skills
• You are a self-starter and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• You are adaptable in unexpected situations, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are a must have
• You can demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• You master MS Office and you have no problem to adapt to other softwares
