The opportunity:

Our Innovation Center – Luxembourg is currently looking for new engineers to be part of the Product Development department. The main responsibilities are development and release of new tires using experimental and predictive approaches in interaction with other functions and departments within our company.

The selected associate will be member of a project team defining tread and cavity design and tire construction meeting our Goodyear and Customer requirements. He will also support the implementation of new products in production.

To join our team you will need:

Education:

The candidate must have successfully completed a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

Languages:

•Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.

•Fluency in German and/or French is an asset.

Experience:

•Graduate's application are welcome

•1 to 5 years experience ideally in automotive industry will be considered as an asset

Skills & Qualifications:

•CAD/CAM (preferred software Catia V5)

•FEA is an asset

•MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point), MS Project

•VBA and SAP are assets

•Knowledge on Statistical analysis tools

•Ability to define and execute projects / Basic knowledge on project management

•Ability to work in a multi-cultural team, as well as independently

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•Sense of responsibility and urgency

•Showing initiative – Being proactive

•Willing to travel occasionally (15%)
