Legal Counsel – Real Estate Funds | Asset Manager

Do you have a passion for Real Estate? Right now, we are actively looking for an experienced Legal Counsel for an Asset Manager.

Role based in: Luxembourg city

Your job

In this role as a Legal Counsel you will be involved in the day to day life of a complex portfolio of Luxembourg companies across several funds. You will report to the Chief Counsel and work closely to a Legal Officer.

Some of the duties include:

• Be responsible for the legal support to specific funds and become a specialist on these products;
• Support colleagues when required regarding other funds;
• Prepare or review legal and corporate documents (e.g. intercompany loan agreement; article of incorporation and preparation of general correspondence for the assigned portfolio companies);
• Collaborate with the AIFM, Risk, and Compliance team;
• Act as a Director / Manager for some Lux entities, attend board meetings, and ensure the quality of the minutes taken.

Jobs requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years in similar functions (AIFM or Law Firm);
• Fluent in English, French is a plus;
• Experience in Real Estate, or any alternative funds exposure (Private Equity / Debts);
• Master’s degree in law;
• Take initiatives, possesses great organizational skills, hands-on.
