Our Client is a fund administrator focusing on the quality of the AIFMD services they provide. They work within the Private Equity & Real Estate sector.
They have 5 offices across the world, 350 employees, and around 70 people in Luxembourg, administering over $80bn PERE funds. They have a great reputation on the market and among their employees with clear opportunities to grow and be promoted. Your job
For this role as a Legal Officer you will provide legal and corporate administrative support to the teams in the fund administration business.
Some of the duties include:
- Organizing and assisting to board meetings;
- Preparing and reviewing minutes;
- Writing shareholders’ resolutions;
- On-boarding clients (incorporations, opening bank accounts, preparing service level agreements, AML compliance process, …);
- Preparing and reviewing board packs;
- Drafting legal documents (minutes, resolutions, agenda, powers of attorney, …);
- Coordinating with clients on-boarding’s and investors meetings, as well as preparing and attending to the board meetings;
- Being familiar with the Luxembourgish real estate and private equity structures and having a full scope of the AIFMs (S.à r.l and SCSps) and with documents (LPAs).
Jobs requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in legal or corporate officer/administrator;
- Knowledge of the Luxemburgish corporate law;
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree;
- Fluent in English ;
- Proactive and self-driven as well as a team player;
- Deadline orientated;
- Able to communicate with clients.
