Chief Information Officer (H/F)
Permanent Contract
Your mission
Guarantee the definition of the department’s global strategy by :
- Defining global objectives of the scope and associated action plans aligned with those of the company,
- Organizing the scope (governance rules and delegation, definition of roles and responsibilities…),
- Defining necessary resources (human, financial, technical),
- Optimising the department budget and organizing its follow-up,
- Defining the manner of steering the department activities,
- Ensuring the application of the security, quality and compliance policies (for example Control plan, Audit, Business Continuity Plan …).
Guarantee people management and contribute to the department management by :
- Animating regularly the team (periodic meetings...),
- Ensuring the information of the team about company related information and the transmission of information relevant for the accomplishment of the department missions,
- Helping the team members with the development of their technical and behavioural skills,
- Organizing a transfer of managerial skills to direct reports.
Guarantee human resources management in cooperation with the Head of Human Resources by :
- Ensuring the communication with the Head of Human Resources concerning carrier and skills management (mobility, training needs, succession and plan…),
- Assessing annually the direct reports and monitor the correct application of the assessment process for the team members made by their managers (achievement or formalising annual reviews),
- Guaranteeing the coherence of the remuneration evolution or attribution of the variable remuneration within the company constraints framework,
- Participating to the recruitment process for the department (writing of job descriptions, validation of interviews, employment kick off interview…), in accordance with the procedure established by HR
- Elaborating a recruitment strategy in view of a prospective vision and structural changes in the company,
- Managing disciplinary issues jointly with the manager.
Guarantee operational steering of the activity (performance and activity) by :
- Analysing activity indicators and results,
- Defining associated actions and remediation plans, and ensuring their implementation,
- Guaranteeing the continuity of the activity depending on employees’ vacations and absence,
- Guaranteeing the identification, assessment and management of IT & Cyber security risks within the scope of responsibility,
- Contributing to continuous improvement of effectiveness.
Contribute to the company security by :
- Educating the employees in the team (including subcontractors) on security policies and promoting their application, in particular by associating rules to the activities they are in charge of,
- Contributing to proper functioning of continuity solutions and employee protection by taking care of documentation updates, participating to the testing and training teams,
- Contributing to security risk assessment actions concerning resources,
- Exercising validation and control on the resource access related to the employees,
- Informing immediately security contacts about any unusual situation,
- Ensuring in a crisis situation, at its level, business resumption defined by the Business Continuity Plan.
IT Strategy:
- Define and maintain a multiannual IT/IS master plan in coherence with business strategy, ETO transformation plans and the corporate IT strategy and budget guidelines,
- Define the IS target architecture, the appropriate roadmap and financial plan to achieve the target.
Information System Management & Architecture:
- Implement the IT policy and validate its effectiveness,
- Define the budget for its scope and monitor incurred costs,
- Ensure the transformation projects are planned and performed according the Corporate methodology, procedures and rules (CASA, MEGA tool, ADM, security, procurement),
- Guarantee the delivery of IS Master Plan compliant applications within schedule and budget.
- Ensure that all IT assets are documented and referenced in the Cardif standard cartography tool.
- Ensure the service quality, performance and business adequacy of the Information System.
- Ensure a technological watch.
Infrastructure Management :
- Manage the evolution plan of the company’s Information System and be responsible of its roll-out, its maintenance in operational condition and its permanent availability,
- Maintain in operational conditions all or a part of the Information System, manage software assets,
- Manage hardware assets and ensure permanently the compliance of associated software licenses.
IT Governance :
- Apply all IT governance rules and monitor their application (indicators& controls),
- Define and deploy all action plans that allow complying with IT Governance rules and ensuring the sustainability of implemented actions,
- Follow up local IT and Cyber risks and the implementation of the IT Risk management framework in order to:
- Guarantee the organizational efficiency of IT and Cyber risk management,
- Ensure that the entity takes into account the priorities of BNP Paribas Group and Cardif Corporate,
- Guarantee that the necessary resources are dedicated to a good management of the IT and Cyber risks.
Working environment:
You will join the IT & Operations Department under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer to lead the IT Division and more or less 50 IT, Project, and Support professionals.
