Overall Purpose of the position
JPMorgan Asset Management (Europe) S.à r.l. (“JPMAME”) delegated certain transfer agency functions to Third Party Administrators (“TPA”); the services provided include processing of deal transactions, maintenance of the register, settlement/reconciliation of payments and execution of corporate actions, client servicing of retail clients, processing of Trailer fee calculations.
The accountability of JPMAME in its capacity as transfer agent remains unchanged by this delegation and the TA Service Delivery Team is responsible for overseeing the delivery of these services and managing the relationship with the appointed TPA, platform and STP vendors.
The TA Service Delivery function provides a point of escalation for service-related issues in general, and acts as the first point of escalation contacts for both the TPA and internal AM teams in regards to TPA activities.
The Banking and Trailer Fee Oversight Teams are a sub group of the TA Service Delivery team.
Where Banking oversees the delivery of the delegated banking/settlement/ reconciliation services.
The Trailer Fee team oversees the delivery of TF setups, calculations, payments and accruals.
Both will manage the relationship with the appointed TPAs or Banking Vendors for their respective area of expertise.
Principle Responsibilities:
•Relationship Management – TPAs, Banking providers, platforms, internal parties, errors
•Maintain the agreed and appropriate oversight of our TPAs, banking vendors & Sub Registers
•Operational Bank Account Oversight & end to end cycle on the Trailer Fee Oversight
•Escalation point for any operational issues both for the TPA and internal AM teams as well as escalation towards management / ManCo
•Maintain daily/weekly/monthly checkpoints with TPA or Banking providers
•Responsibility to spot, act on and minimize risks within the business
•Subject Matter Expert for JPMAME projects where required
•Liaison with other internal & external vendors
•Work as one team towards internal clients - support and cover for team colleagues during period of extensive volume, holiday and cross training
•Partnership with Global Internal business units
•Understanding of business strategy and implications/dependencies on TPA operating model
•Responsible for the coordination of the review and updates of key operational procedures or policies
•Timely and accurate team inbox management, completion and documentation of issues log and team checklists

• Strong understanding of Transfer Agent operational activities experience
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal awareness, managing impact
• Ability to easily build strong relationships internally/externally

• Resiliency – stress resistant, remaining calm and flexible under pressure
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time management
• Fluent in English, any other European language would be beneficial
