Role:
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for the controlling and approval ofclients/intermediaries into the Luxembourg domiciled funds. He/she willfurthermore support the oversight of clients/intermediaries with regards tocompliance with Anti-Money Laundering controls and KYC/KYI/KYD standards asrequired by regulation and the firm’s policy. The team is also in charge of thecontrolling of Legal Agreements negotiation and agreement sign off process bythe Management Company.
Team functions:
The core responsibilities of the team are:
- Ownership of Due Diligence Questionnaires prepared by Sales Teams, ensuring correct and complete information as per defined KYC/KYI/KYD standards
- Responsible for central control functions (SDDQ and Global Legal Agreement Portal)
- Assessment of distributor risk by analyzing and understanding distribution model, money laundering program and control framework
- Performance of intermediary reputational assessment
- Ensure timely and coordinated intermediary on-boarding or legal agreements refresh activities as per set priorities
- Contact with relevant stakeholders (Sales, Teams, Legal department and the relevant Subject Matter Experts) to negotiate legal agreement clauses where applicable
- Arrange relevant documentation including Legal Agreement for senior management execution.
- Act as interface between Sales Offices, Legal and the Luxembourg Onboarding Team to ensure Client Experience is met during the on-boarding process and the client life cycle.
- Support Sales Offices with Intermediary enquiries and organize catch up meetings with Sales Offices for review of actions and issues
- Ensure intermediaries files are always up to date and take necessary action to refresh them as per procedures.
- Ensure tagging in the Global Legal Agreement Portal (“GLAP”) is appropriately used.
- Provide regular progress report and KPIs on Sales Due Diligence Questionnaire reviews, Negative Media escalations, PEP screenings and Legal Agreements status.
- Support of Management Company/Conducting Officer in maintenance of the AML Policy and overall risk based approach.
Qualifications
Profile:
Detailed understanding of Asset Managementoperations, Client/Intermediary account opening and KYD. Experience level ofminimum 2 years. Degree in Law is a plus.
